Are you planning to visit the Costa Brava and not sure of what to do or would like to know some of the wonderful places to visit.  What are you looking for, possibly some excitement at one of the Water Parks or further afield you may wish to visit Universal Studios Port Aventura Theme Park.  Or are you after something maybe a bit more sedate such as the Salvador Dali museum in Port Lligatt near Cadaques?


Waterworld near Lloret De Mar is one of the biggest water parks in Europe.  The park has a 260 metre long big dipper ride and Rafting River and is the biggest aquatic attraction in Europe    South of Tossa de Mar is Marineland which has Dolphins, sea lions, water slides, a zoo and many other attractions.  


The city of Barcelona is not too far from the Costa Brava and many people travel in for the day to splendour in its wonderful Gaudi architecture and to visit La Ramblas or to spend some time in the Gothic area to sample the atmosphere and historic buildings.


Somewhere to visit is the roman ruins at Empuries, an important historcal site along with Benedictine monastery in Montserrat.  The latter is located north west of Barcelona and has attracted visitors including pilgrims since the late 11th century.


There are many golf courses in Catalonia and the Costa Brava as well as other sporting opportunities such as cycling, watersports, sky diving, ballooning , diving and snorkelling.
